TEAM:
Pivot Construction Solutions and Maars partnered with SOM and Source Planning on this stunning renovation of a historic building in San Francisco.
GOAL:
To leverage and preserve the beautiful materiality of this 1855 building’s original brick and timber elements. To create a space that captures the unique charm of Jackson Square, and would appeal to prospective commercial tenants with a discerning eye for design.
DETAILS:
Maars Horizon glass walls maintain the open, airy feeling to the space, as well as providing spatial delineation and exceptional soundproofing for private meeting rooms and spaces for focused work. A Maars String2 media wall seamlessly incorporates technology in the main conference space. Furnishings from Herman Miller and DWR Contract bring high design and functionality, and Framery booths offer convenience and privacy for calls.
